Meet Our Superintendent

Howard Hampton, Superintendent of School

Mr. Howard Hampton was named Superintendent of Bishop School on May 25, 1999 becoming the 14th Superintendent of the District. He began directing the District July 1, 1999. Mr. Hampton is responsible for administering Board policies while operating within the framework of state and federal laws.

A native of Gore, Oklahoma, Mr. Hampton received his undergraduate and master's degrees from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He earned his Superintendent Certificate by completing course work at Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma.

His goals for Bishop School are to improve student achievement, ensure the safety of all students, encourage and train teachers and staff, and improve the facilities to create the best learning environment.
